When you submit a contact or inquiry form on this site, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, your email address, your phone number (optional), and the contents of your message. We collect this only when you submit it. Form submissions are delivered to Jennifer Dane by email (via FormSubmit, formsubmit.co, where used) and stored in her private client database through Notion so she can respond and manage follow-up.
Analytics and usage data
This site uses Google Analytics 4, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site and how ads perform. These services set cookies and collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, the device and browser you use, approximate location, how you interact with pages, and (when you use on-site search) the search terms you type on this website. Microsoft Clarity may capture anonymized interaction and session data. This information helps us see what is working on the site and where it can be improved. It is not used to access your personal search history on Google or other sites, and it is not used to personally identify you from analytics alone.
How we use information
We use the information collected to respond to your inquiries, to provide real estate services, and to maintain and improve the site. We do not sell your information.
Calls, texts, and email
When you submit a form, the details you share (your name, contact info, and what you are looking for) go to Jennifer so she can respond, and are stored in her private client database. The contact form requires express consent before submission: by checking the consent box and submitting, you agree that Jennifer Dane / buycharlestonsc.com may call or text you at the number you provide about your inquiry. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to end texts or HELP for help at any time. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any property or service.
So that follow-ups make sense, the site also remembers how you first found it (for example a search engine, a social link, an ad, or a QR code) in your browser's local storage, and attaches that to anything you submit. Newsletter signups receive email you can leave anytime with the unsubscribe link in any issue, or on the email preferences page.

The site relies on the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy practices:
- FormSubmit, which delivers contact form submissions by email where that path is used.
- Notion, which stores inquiry details in Jennifer’s private client CRM database.
